— About me
My name is Vivien Kámán, and sports have been a part of my life since I was 8 years old.
I played volleyball at a competitive level for 10 years, later danced, and then discovered CrossFit and bodybuilding, which are still an important part of my life today.
Sports have given me a lot, but I have also had negative experiences with nutrition at a young age. My volleyball coach strictly controlled our diet, and we often received comments about our bodies. After a while, this became mentally very stressful for me.
When I stopped competitive sports, I completely lost my balance. I felt that I no longer had to meet any expectations, and that I could eat whatever I wanted. As a result, I gained over 40 kg in 5 months.
For a long time, I barely noticed how much my life had changed. I felt worse in my body, avoided the beach, and started wearing larger and larger clothes. When I finally stepped on the scale and saw 100 kg, I realized that I needed to make a change.
The hardest part was that I didn’t know how to start. I tried different trend diets and felt completely lost among all the conflicting information. One place said something was healthy, while another said it should be avoided.
As I learned more and educated myself, I gradually found balance. I realized that a healthy lifestyle is not about restrictions and starvation. I learned to eat in a varied and mindful way, without having to completely exclude any food groups.
I changed a lot, both physically and mentally. Of course, I also faced setbacks, but I learned to take lessons from my mistakes instead of punishing myself for them.
Since 2022, I have been officially a personal trainer and nutrition advisor, after completing my studies in the field.
I believe that a cookie doesn’t ruin a diet, just like a bad day doesn’t ruin your entire journey. Training also doesn’t have to mean spending hours in the gym several times a week. A lifestyle change works best when it is adapted to your life, your everyday routine, and your goals. That’s why it is so important to me that every program is fully personalized.
I created this 8-week lifestyle change program to help people who are in the same situation I once was. I want to show that changing your lifestyle doesn’t have to be a struggle, and that extreme methods are not necessary.
